Hennessey performance celebrates the 25th anniversary with new world record. this car is officially from Texas and is world fastest and convertible. the new world record was set by Hennessey Venom GT spyder on march 24, 2016. this car top speed is 285 mph. this car speed was tested by the director of ford performance racing school. but due to safety reasons the speed is set to limit 265 mph which means 450 km/h.



The top speed of this car is 285 mph 450 km/h. the speed is set to limit of 265 mph 425 km/h. due to safety reasons. this speed was tested on 2.9 mile long runway at US Navy. its is the fastest convertible car in the world. it has high stability drive even the roof is open.




This car acceleration is so powerful it reaches from 0-100 km/h in just 2.5 seconds. and 0- 300 km/h it takes only 13.63 seconds which is also a world record in Guinness Book Of World Record. It has a V8 Engine 90 degree.Twin turbo Chargers. Overhead valve, 2 valve/cylinder. The V8 engine produceing 1451 bhp, 7200 rpm and torque @ 4200 rpm. it has six speed manual gear box. Multi port fuel injection.




Body Layout is mid logitudinal engine / rear drive.its body frame is made of carbon fiber and composite by aluminium hybird monocoque space frames. the length of this car is 183.8 inches, its width is 77.3 inches and its height is 44.7 inches. the ground clearance is 3.5 to 5.9 inches. its fuel tank is of 70 liters.


Hennessey plans to offer a limited run of 3 “World Record Edition” Venom GT Spyder’s to commemorate the record run and as a tribute to the company’s 25th Anniversary.  The cost is $1.3 million each plus tax.



Jhon Hennessey said, We are grateful to have the help of so many friends, family, employees, customers and partners over the past 25 years. this car has optional upgrades like Carbon fiber finish, right hand drive, steafano ricci bespoke interior, stereo system designed by steven tyler of aerosmith and michelin pilot soprts cup ZP tires.
